![]() Decorate your buildings and find a nice base location.Look for hard drive replacement recipes that remove something that's a pain to make or simplify your process. If you are exploring looking for hard drives. Don't over engineer especially early on when new machines / recipes will make the job way better. Don't make things more complex than they need to be. The other is expensive but with higher throughput. Every other speed belt is really good.Try to keep your power production above your machines at all times. So it's easier to identify what's in it at a distance. Color your liquid pipes the color of the fluid in it.Head back to the power plant and start plugging in your pipes and wires. Take a break and place the buildings for the circuit factory. For example, if you are expanding your power and need your new circuit factory built, layout your generators and water extractors. Work on multiple projects at once to not get burnt out on one.Sometimes it's just faster to handcraft 50 Heavy modular frames in 5 minutes versus building a giant building to do it automatically when you only need a few.RUSH COAL POWER! At this point you can leave your machines running without having to pick flowers every 10 minutes.Walls are cheap to make, I build mine 4 high per floor so you can fall and avoid fall damage. Elevators have the same throughput and cost the same as belts to place. This game makes it very easy to make a tall building and keep your items flowing easily. Build vertically! Make some tall buildings.Or use signs to help identify what's in the box. Use a 1 long belt out the front of a storage crate for display of what's inside. So you can have a surplus of items when you are grabbing more. You can use elevators to stack them and overflow their storage into one another.I stack a few storage chests on top of each other. I have all the Tier 1 and 2 items belted to a singular location. Have a place with most of your consolidated resources.Right angles with belts can be made with 2 up and 2 to the side spaced conveyor poles Build on foundations and make right angle belts if you love organization.Train stations are always bigger than you think they will be. You're putting together a beautiful factory then later one you need to squeeze another building in. I sink Caterium wires and quartz items for the whole game after they are set up generating tickets. ![]() Very useful on thing you don't need loads of in the early game. Sink items all the time to generate tickets to make your buildings more beautiful. So as long as this collection of machines is always powered you'll be getting 40 plates / minute until your storage is full. So 1 miner, 2 furnaces, and 2 constructors put out 40 plates. Furnaces cook 30 per minute and output20 plates per minute. 1 Miner on a normal node outputs 60 Iron Ore Per Minute. For example a starter iron plate setup with a MK. Satisfactory has no end to the resource nodes on the map so when you set up your machines you can be confident that you are getting your bang for your buck if all the ore is being consumed. make your screws right before your assemblers rather than moving 5x the number of items on your belt from further away clogging up your belts. For example every 3x iron ore is 2x iron bars on a belt I.E. Try and keep your items in their smallest version when traveling to help with throughput.Even if it isn't efficient a machine that's always running will still net you items over time even when you are not around it. Try to fully automate every item as you go up through the tech Milestones. With a fully saturated belt they will have the same output. It takes longer to get all machines up and running since it has to flow end to end. They are a lot more straightforward to put together and take up less space than a load balancer does. Load Balancer You can use whichever you like. I recommend using distributed factories will help you with your framerate and organization. Distributed Factory I started with a mega factory and started running into logistical and performance issues with all the machines running. All the milestones in your starter base are good upgrades and will unlock a lot more buildings for you. The best thing about Satisfactory is the freedom to play how you wanna play. If you want to know more about specific machine setups there are other guides out there that can get into the finer details.īy no means do you have to follow everything in this list. This is more of a cursory glance at the game and something to help newer players with the learning curve and have a general direction to work towards. So I haven't seen the super late game myself. I've played for 800 hours and have gotten to nuclear power a few times. This is meant for the early to mid game to late game transitions. I'm attempting to make a good checklist of general things to work towards and strategies to help you build up your dream factory.
